The University of Maine at Machias Engineering Pathways Program is designed to attract more students into engineering by offering a 1+3 program, thus starting an engineering degree just got a little easier.
Through the 1+3 program you can graduate with an engineering degree in 4 years if you are academically prepared. If you are not academically prepared, you can still graduate with an engineering degree, but it may take you an additional semester or two. You can start your first year of study towards an engineering degree at the University of Maine at Machias, and then transfer and finish your engineering degree at the University of Maine or the University of Southern Maine in the area of engineering you are interested in.
